Old pension scheme news 2023

The undersigned is directed to say that consequent on introduction of National Pension System (NPS) vide Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs) Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB & PR dated 22.12.2003, all Government servants appointed on or after 01.01.2004 to the posts in the Central Government service (except armed forces) are mandatorily covered under the said scheme. The Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972 and other connected rules were also amended vide Notification dated 30.12.2003 and, after the said amendment, those rules are not applicable to the Government servants appointed to Government service after 31.12.2003.

2. Subsequently, Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare in consultation with the Department of Personnel & Training, Department of Expenditure and Department of Legal Affairs in the light of the various representations/references and decisions of Hon'ble Courts, issued instructions vide OM No. 57/04/2019-P&PW(B) dated 17.02.2020 giving one time option to Central Government employees who were declared successful for recruitment in the results declared on or before 31.12.2003 against vacancies which occurred before 01.01.2004 and were covered under the National Pension System on joining service on or after 01.01.2004, to be covered under the CCS(Pension) Rules, 1972 (now 2021). There was fixed time schedule for different activities under the aforesaid OM dated 17.02.2020.

3. Representations have been received in this Department from the Government servants appointed on or after 01.01.2004 requesting for extending the benefit of the pension scheme under Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972 (now 2021) on the ground that their appointment was made against the posts/vacancies advertised/notified for recruitment prior to notification for National Pension System, referring to court judgments of various Hon'ble High Courts and Hon'ble Central Administrative Tribunals allowing such benefits to applicants.

Making an important decision of the government for the youth of the state, the Minister of Forests, Shri Kirit Singh Rana said that it has been decided to carry out a total of 6 posts of Forest Guard Class-3, which were postponed due to unavoidable circumstances in the year 2018, through direct recruitment. Minister of State for Forests Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma has added that after the completion of the recruitment process for these 6 posts, a brand new recruitment process for direct recruitment to fill the vacancies has been started.

The process of filling up a total of 3 direct recruitment posts of forest ranger class-3 was postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The state government has decided to take up the postponed recruitment process in the interest of the youth. In this forthcoming recruitment process, the applications of the applicants who were declared valid during the previous recruitment process of the previous year 2016 will be considered valid regardless of the current age of the applicants. Applicants who had applied as a candidate in the "General Category" in the previous recruitment process of the previous year, if they want to avail the benefit of "Economically Weak Class" category, they should be given 10 (ten) days to fill in these details on "Online Job Application System" (OJAS). Candidates in the general category who want to avail the benefit of the economically weaker class category will have to upload the details of the "Economically Weak Class Certificate" on the Online Job Application System (OJAS) of the competent authority recognized on 01-08-203.

Dubai The Indian cricket team made its debut against traditional rivals Pakistan in the ICC T20 Men's Cricket World Cup to be played in Australia later this year on October 9 in Melbourne. The ICC announced the schedule of the tournament.

The tournament will start on October 14 and the final will be played on November 14 in Flood Lights. A total of 6 matches between 12 teams will be played in seven different cities of Australia: Adelaide, Biserban, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Parva and Sydney. The mega event will start with the match of 2013 champions Sri Lanka and Namibia.

The first semi-final of the World Cup will be played on November 9 in Sydney and the second semi-final on November 10 at the Adelaide Oval. The 12 teams will play India and Pakistan directly in the Super-12 stage.

The other four teams will be decided by qualifiers in February and July. Namibia, Scotland, Sri Lanka and the West Indies will play in the qualifiers before the Super-16 round. Apart from India and Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England and South Africa have been placed in the Super-12 round. The World Cup will feature three matches on the same day on October 9 and 20 and November 6.

1993), the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Mukhya Sevika, Class-111, in the Superior Panchayat Service Recruitment Rules, 2013 namely

1. These rules may be called the Mukhya Sevika, Class- III, in the Superior Panchayat

Service Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

2. In the Mukhya Sevika, Class III, in the Superior Panchayat Service Recruitment Rule

2013, in rule-3,

(1) clause (a). for the figures and words, "35 years, the figures and word "37 years" shall

be substituted;

(ii) in clause (b) for sub-clause (i), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely (i) a Bachelor's degree in Home Science or Sociology or Child Development of Nutrition or Social Work or Master's Degree in Social Work obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956."

CDS Bipin Rawat death

An Army helicopter carrying 14 people including Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat (CDS Bipin Rawat) and his wife crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu today (December 08, 2021). Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat was killed in the accident.

CDS Bipin Rawat's Profile

- Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat (CDS Bipin Rawat) has spent a long time in the service of the Indian Army, he has been an expert in fighting at high altitudes.

- Bipin Rawat is known in the Army as an expert in height fighting and counter-insurgency operations.

The surgical strike to destroy terrorist camps in Pakistan was carried out by Army Chief General Bipin Rawat following the 2016 terrorist attack on a military base in Uri.

-He has spent a long time in LOC, China Border and North East during Army service.

-Bipin Rawat commanded in the Kashmir Valley as a Brigadier in the National Rifles and later as a Major General in the Infantry Division. He commanded the South Command.

- He coordinated McNize-Warfare on the western border with Pakistan as well as the Air Force and Navy.

-Bipin Rawat has also commanded an infantry battalion as a colonel on the Chinese border.

-Bipin Rawat has been awarded the Sword of Honor at the Indian Military Academy.

-Rawat has served as the Chairman of the Chief of Staff Committee as well as the 27th Army Chief of the Indian Army.

-Bipin Rawat holds a PhD in Military Media Studies from Charan Singh University.

The helicopter was purchased by India from Russia and is considered safe. It is special in many ways and is used for transporting important people of the country. Helicopter crashes have occurred in the past.

Other cases of MI-17V5 helicopter crash

The MI-17V5 helicopter crashed during a rescue operation after the disaster in Kedarnath in 2013. In which 20 people were killed.

According to India Today, nine NDRF personnel and six ITBP personnel were also killed in the accident.

In October 2017, an Air Force MI-17V5 helicopter crashed in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. Seven people were killed.

The incident took place around 6 a.m. during an air maintenance mission in the China border area, according to the Times of India.

The dead included five Air Force and two Army personnel. In February 2019, a Mi-17V5 helicopter crashed in Srinagar.

According to the Times of India, six Indian Air Force personnel and a civilian were killed in the accident.

Indian and Russian helicopters

Thirteen people, including General Bipin Rawat and his wife, were killed in the accident.

The first Russian helicopter was ordered by the Ministry of Defense in 2008.

Delivery began in 2011 and by 2013, a total of 36 helicopters had been delivered to India. In addition, during the aero show in February 2013, India also ordered 12 Mi-17V5 helicopters.

As part of the 2008 deal, the Ministry of Defense and Rosoboronexport signed an agreement for 71 Mi-17V5 helicopters in 2012-13, according to the Economic Times.

The last batch of orders under this agreement was sent to India in July 2018.

MI-17V5 and its features

An Army helicopter has crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, with senior Army officials, including General Bipin Rawat, on board.

According to the website of Russian Helicopters, the manufacturer of MI-17V5 helicopters, these helicopters are military transport variants of the MI-8/17 series of helicopters.

The helicopters are manufactured by Kazan Helicopters, a Russian subsidiary of Helicopters.

These helicopters were designed as transport cargo.

However, by modifying it, it can also be used for the movement of soldiers. The company claims that this helicopter is the most advanced transport helicopter in the world.

According to the company, the helicopter can be used for the movement of troops and weapons, for the movement of VVIPOs, for surveillance as well as for rescue operations.

Not only recruitment of exercise teachers in Gujarat schools for 13 years

 Eligible unemployed candidates have alleged that the Gujarat government has not been recruiting exercise teachers in schools for the last 15 years. The last time a gymnast was hired in a school was in 2006. Since then, the government has been reluctant to recruit. This government, which spends millions of rupees every year in the name of Khel Mahakumbh, recruits enough exercise teachers in schools. Currently, there are allegations of a shortage of about 60 per cent exercise teachers in state schools.

Khel Mahakumbh, FTI India and Yoga University, Sports University are being set up in the state on one side and on the other.

 Pursuant to the above reference, to state that instruction has been given by the Home Department of the Government to fill the 9902 vacancies of Gram Rakshak Dal / Sagar Rakshak Dal in the next 100 days.

With the above reference-3 resolution of the Home Department of the Government, all the administrative matters pertaining to the Gram Rakshak Dal

The matter is under the control of Commandant General Shri Gruh Rakshak Dal, Gujarat State and Police

The Superintendent has been appointed as the Head of the Office and Commandant General Home Guards Gujarat State has been appointed as the Head of the Department.

 A sheet showing the details of sanctioned establishment of Gram Rakshak Dal Sagar Rakshak Dal in various districts of the state is attached herewith. (Annexure-A) The recruitment process has to be completed immediately as per the provisions of Rule 3 to 4 of Gujarat Police Manual 12 Part-2.

 Gram Rakshak Dal Sagar Rakshak Dal will have to select a candidate who is physically and mentally strong and lives in the villages. Before appointing the selected candidates, their character and criminal history will have to be ascertained. The recruitment process for all the vacant posts of Gram Rakshak Dal / Sagar Rakshak Dal members has to be completed by the Superintendent of Police by 30.11 2021.

- The wide publicity of the recruitment process should be disseminated to the people of rural areas through local newspapers, notice boards of public places, notice boards of police stations and officers / employees of police stations.

The selected Gram Rakshak Dal / Sagar Rakshak Dal members will have to be trained as per Rule 8 to 20 of Gujarat Police Manual 12 Part-2.
