Admission will be given on merit basis on the basis of percentage of Std-12 and percentage of undergraduate course in postgraduate courses (percentage of admission to the university) for new admission in any year or semester in all undergraduate courses. (Note: Student should have got 50 marks or more.)

Students who have been admitted to Samaras Hostel in the previous year will also be required to apply online. Renewed students of Group-2 and Group-3 who want to stay in the hostel for the second year should have got 55 or more marks in the last two semester percentage (SPI Semester Performance Index) in the last annual examination as per the university approved calculation. In cases where gradation is given instead of percentage, the equivalent gradation should be 55% or more. Percentage will be 50% for renewed students of group-1.

The right of admission cannot be claimed on the basis of the online application made by the student. Once the Provisional Merit List for Admission is published on the basis of online application, the students appearing in it will have to verify the original certificates at the respective Samaras Hostel within the period specified on the website, after which the admission will be fixed by the concerned Samaras Hostel.

If there is any discrepancy between the percentage filled in the online form of a student and the percentage of the original marksheet and the certificates / details regarding eligibility, then the admission of such applicants will be canceled.

Only students studying in the college of the district in which the Samaras hostel is located will be considered eligible for admission.

The rules regarding admission to Samaras Hostel as well as more details are given on the website mentioned above, which students have to study in full and apply online. In addition, for any information regarding admission, one has to contact the Samaras Hostel located in the respective district mentioned on the website. Students from rural areas will also be able to apply for admission online through e-gram.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting Online Applications for NEET (UG) – 2022 for admission 

to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India. As per Section 14 of The National 

Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National 

Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions, including those governed under any other law in force.

NEET 2022 Exam type 

The Entrance Test shall consist of 200 multiple choice questions (four options with a single correct answer)

NEET 2022 syllabus 

from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). 50 questions in each subject will be divided 

into two Sections (A and B). The duration of the Examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes) 

from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST).

The Government of Gujarat is implementing a scheme under Section 12 (1) 7 of The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act-2006 to provide free admission to children belonging to weaker and disadvantaged groups in Std-1 as per 25% in non-subsidized private primary schools. Children who have completed five years on June 1, 2022 and have the following priorities are eligible for admission under this scheme as per the priority order.

2. Children of Balmuh

3. A child in need of care and protection

4. Children of child labor Migrant labor

5. Children with cerebral palsy

6. Children with Special Needs / Physically Handicapped and All Handicapped Children as described in Section 34 (1) of the Disability Act-2016 તા (ART) Children undergoing treatment with Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART)

7. Children of military / paramilitary police personnel who were martyred in the line of duty

9. Children studying in state government owned Anganwadi

Note: For children in priority (8), (9), (11), (12) and (13) income limit of Rs.1.1,000 / - per annum in rural area and Rs.1,50,000 / - in urban area. Will apply. Admission will be given considering the priority of the category for admission, priority of income. Priority of the school selected by the guardian etc.

All the necessary details in this regard, such as what supporting evidence is to be submitted with the application, or all the details to be submitted by the officer are posted on the website.

The required period is between the announcement of admission and the date of online application so that the applicant can collect the required supporting evidence and apply online within the time limit.

After the result of UG-NIT is declared, the process for admission in Medical-Dental after Std. 12 Science will start after 10th November. Seats in medical may increase this year but on the other hand there will be a huge rush for admission as there are too many students.

Students of B group of Std. 12 Science can get admission in five courses including Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy and Naturopathy depending on the NIT. The admission process will be started by the Medical Admission Committee of the Government of Gujarat after the data of the net score-ranking of the students of Gujarat is received by the testing agency.

This year, the admission process for paramedical will be parallel with that of medical-dental, as the merit-choice filling admission process is still pending after the registration of paramedical. The number of seats in medical-dental is likely to increase this year. As inspections are conducted in many medical colleges this year, the number of seats allowed is likely to increase but on the other hand, the number of students has also increased significantly. This year, there are about 40,000 students who have qualified from Gujarat.

 NOTIFICATION (PROSPECTUS) FOR ADMISSION OF STUDENTS IN CLASS-XI 

AGAINST VACANT SEATS IN JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYAS DURING THE 

SESSION 2021-22

Notification

Online applications are invited from eligible students for admission to Class XI against the 

vacant seats likely to be available in JNVs during the academic year 2021-22. Admission will be made 

on the basis of performance of students in Class X Board Examinations (CBSE / State Education/ 

other recognized Board).

Salient Features of Navodaya Scheme

• 3.1 Good quality modern education for talented children predominantly from rural areas.
• 3.2 Co-educational and fully residential, up to Class-XII.
• 3.3 Location – usually in rural areas.
• 3.4 Free education including boarding and lodging as well as expenses on Uniforms, Text Books, 
• and Stationery etc.
• 3.5 Affiliated to CBSE.
• 3.6 Implementation of Three-Language Formula.

 Eligibility

• 4.1 Date of Birth of the candidate is to be between 1st June 2003 to 31st May 2007 (both days 
• inclusive). This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the 
• Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
• 4.2 The candidate must have passed Class X from a recognized school (affiliated to CBSE 
• or any other State Education / other recognized Board) of the State where the Jawahar 
• Navodaya Vidyalaya is located during the academic session 2020-21.

How to apply for admission in Class-XI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya

• The candidate can fill the online application form directly on NVS website 
• www.navodaya.gov.in. While education in the schools is free including board & lodging, uniform and 
• textbooks, a sum of Rs. 600/- per month is collected only from the students of Classes IX to XII 
• towards Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi. However, students belonging to SC/ST categories, all Girl students 
• and the students whose family income is below poverty line (BPL) are exempted. In respect of wards 
• of Government employees other than exempted category (Students of classes VI to VIII, all SC/ST & 
• Girl students and wards of BPL families) Vikas Nidhi will be charged @Rs.1500/- per month or actual 
• children education allowance received by the parent per month whichever is less. However, VVN 
• shall not be less than Rs.600/- per student per month. The last date to apply is 26th August, 2021.
