Advertisement for free admission in Std-1 for children
The Government of Gujarat is implementing a scheme under Section 12 (1) 7 of The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act-2006 to provide free admission to children belonging to weaker and disadvantaged groups in Std-1 as per 25% in non-subsidized private primary schools. Children who have completed five years on June 1, 2022 and have the following priorities are eligible for admission under this scheme as per the priority order.
Priority
1. Orphaned child
2. Children of Balmuh
3. A child in need of care and protection
4. Children of child labor Migrant labor
5. Children with cerebral palsy
6. Children with Special Needs / Physically Handicapped and All Handicapped Children as described in Section 34 (1) of the Disability Act-2016 તા (ART) Children undergoing treatment with Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART)
7. Children of military / paramilitary police personnel who were martyred in the line of duty
9. Children studying in state government owned Anganwadi
10. Children of K. family of all categories (C, ST, SEBC, General and others) having 0 to 20 marks, children of 11 Scheduled Caste (D) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
12 Socially and Educationally Backward Classes / Other Backward Classes Nomadic and Deprived Caste Children Nomadic and Deprived Caste children should be given first priority in admission.
13 General Category / Non-Reserved Class Children
Note: For children in priority (8), (9), (11), (12) and (13) income limit of Rs.1.1,000 / - per annum in rural area and Rs.1,50,000 / - in urban area. Will apply. Admission will be given considering the priority of the category for admission, priority of income. Priority of the school selected by the guardian etc.
All the necessary details in this regard, such as what supporting evidence is to be submitted with the application, or all the details to be submitted by the officer are posted on the website.
The required period is between the announcement of admission and the date of online application so that the applicant can collect the required supporting evidence and apply online within the time limit.
Documents list
Only when the guardian fills in the online form, the required supporting evidence such as
Proof of date of birth, proof of residence,
Example of race / category,
As well as income proof (where applicable) etc. should be uploaded online.
Note
The guardian will have to keep the print of the online form. The form filled online will not have to be submitted anywhere.

To get admission, the child's guardian can fill the admission form on the website http://rte.orpgujarat.com from 30/03/2022 to 11/04/2022.
