The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM) is established by Government of Gujarat Act 5/2013 in Ahmedabad as a University for imparting knowledge and offers courses with specialization in Infrastructure Technology and Management of Infrastructure in particular and to create centres of excellence in the related areas. The Institute is seeking applications and/or nominations for the positions of its Director General and Director.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Director General shall work under the overall direction of the Board of Governors, and shall be the Chief Executive and Academic Officer and shall be responsible for providing Academic and Strategic Leadership, Policy and Planning, Financial Management and Liaison with Government. The Director shall be responsible for managing the academic, administrative and other affairs of the University school and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed or entrusted to him/her by the Director General. Note: The Search-cum-Selection Committee may consider a candidate for the post of Director even if the application is for the post of Director General and Vice Versa. The committee may also consider candidates who have not applied for either of the two posts based on nominations.
