Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment to the following Group 'C' posts in the Customs Marine Wing in the jurisdiction of Customs Gujarat Zone (includes the State of Gujarat and U.T. of Daman and Diu)

Education qualification
Essential:
(i) 10th class pass or equivalent (ii) 3 years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance. Desirable:
Certificate of competency as "Engine Driver of fishing vessel" issued by Marine Mercantile Department.

Education qualification
Essential:
(i) 10th class pass or equivalent (ii) 3 years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with the two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
Desirable:
Certificate of competency as "Mate of fishing vessel" issued by Marine Mercantile Department
Application Fees
There is no Application Fee.
Note: Age limit will be counted as on closing date of receipt of the online Applications i.e. 24.08.2021.
General conditions:
- 01. The experience certificate must contain period with dates, name of the post held and nature of work done etc.
- 02. The selection of the candidates will be based on written examination and skill test as applicable to the post and also subject to Medical fitness.
- 03. Photographs pasted on the application shall be duly signed.
- 04. No. T.A. will be paid for the written test/skill test.
- 05.candidates with higher qualification may also apply.
- 06. Serving Government candidates should apply through proper channel with a certificate from the Head of Department that disciplinary/vigilance case is pending against them. no
- 07. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification and candidature of such candidates is liable to be summarily rejected.
- 08 Applications sent by Courier will not be accepted.

The admit Card will not be sent by Post. Facility for download of Admit Cards will be provided at the website www.jamnagarcustoms.gov.in as well as will be sent on the email of candidate. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the website & check their email regularly.
