(4) Candidate of reserved caste with the application regarding the caste of the candidate (S.J., A.J.J., Sa.Sa.P.V, Sha.Kho.Kha. and A.N.V. The certificate issued by the officer has to be submitted.
(2) If the candidate is from backward class, then the certificate of competent officer obtained after that on 1-4-14 regarding not being included in the advanced class has to be submitted.
(3) If there is a candidate of economically weaker class (A.N.V.) in the prescribed form as per the provision of Resolution No. EWS / 1901306/3, dated 8/01/2018 of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. Presents "Certificate of Eligibility for Economically Weaker Classes" issued by the competent authority

(3) Trainees and permanent regular employees of Surat Municipal Corporation will also have to apply online and after applying their hard copy along with a copy of last pay slip, their candidature application will be mediated by the candidate after getting the approval of the competent officer of his department / zone. Must be sent to the Establishment (Recruitment) Department during office hours (excluding holidays) within seven days after the last date of application.

If the candidate is not from economically weaker class (ANV) then Annexure-KH (Eligibility Certificate) prescribed by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment as per the provision of Resolution No. E.K.S. For Economically Weaker Sections) Certificate obtained in English Sample or Appendix-C (Eligibility Certificate for Economically Weaker Classes) in Gujarati Sample from 15/01/2017 till the last date of application will be considered valid for this advertisement. Such certificate should be issued by the competent authority by the last date of application. Certificates issued after the last date of application will not be considered valid for this advertisement. The candidate will have to show the certificate number and issue date while applying online.
