Eligibility criteria

The income limit has been fixed at Rs. 1,50,000 / - for rural area and Rs. 1,50,000 / - for urban area.

The standard of assistance

Socially and educationally backward class, economically backward class, nomadic emancipated caste homeless ISMOs are given Rs.1,50,000 / - for construction of houses in rural areas and urban areas.

The period for completion of building construction is 5 years.

Under the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Awas Yojana, the Office of the Director, Developing Caste Welfare, Gandhinagar is implementing a scheme to provide housing assistance to the socially and educationally backward classes, economically backward classes and homeless ISMOs of the nomadic castes. Online applications were invited from 01/06/21 to 30/06/21 on the portal gamajavanujarat.gov.in from the applicants who wanted to avail benefits under Sadarhu Yojana and were eligible for the criteria laid down by the Government. But in Bharuch, Chhotaudepur, Dang, Gir Somnath, Jamnagar, Narmada, Porbandar, Rajkot, Surat, Tapi, Vadodara and Valsad districts of the state, the number of online applications received less than the target has been received. Will be able to apply online on esamajhalvan.gujarat.gov.in portal till 07/21. Details in this regard will remain the same as per the order 1 to 16 of the advertisement published in the daily newspapers on 01/06/21.

(1) Who is eligible for the benefit of this scheme? Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes and Homeless ISMOs of Nomadic Liberated Castes are eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme to those who have got their own plots or government free plots in their name to overcome the difficulties of living in cities and villages.

What kind of land can be used for building construction?

Self Owned Plot / Household Land

(2) Owner of inherited land

Owner of property under the Rawla Rights and Prize Land Act

How to avail the benefits of this scheme. . To avail the benefits of the scheme, one has to go to the portal esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.In and fill up the form of Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay Awas Yojana and submit the grounds as stated in it.

What kind of supporting evidence is required to avail the benefits of this scheme? The following supporting evidences are required to avail the benefits of this scheme.

(1) Assessment sheet of Gram Panchayat

(2) Construction leave letter

What is the standard of assistance in this scheme? Get a lump of help? Under this scheme, a total assistance of Rs. Assistance is available in three installments. Can help be obtained if the building is ready?

No. Assistance cannot be obtained on a prefabricated building.

Separate assistance for toilets?

Yes, Rs.12000 / - for toilet assistance and Rs.16920 / - under MGNREGA, total Rs.148920 / assistance is available. The benefit of MGNREGA and toilets will have to be obtained from the taluka panchayat through the gram panchayat

A standard of priority has been adopted for this scheme. Yes, the standard of application for assistance is as follows.

(1) Nomadic-free caste (2) Extremely backward (3) More backward (3) Widowed women

(10) What action should be taken after the completion of the construction of the building?

(11) No ceiling has been fixed for housing construction. Yes, the ceiling (price) of a house is fixed at Rs. 5 lakhs for rural area and Rs. 7 lakhs for urban area.
