During corona's tenure, the country's largest IT company will recruit 35,000 college graduates

 Infosys, the country's second largest IT company, today announced its June quarter results. The company's net profit rose 22.7 per cent to Rs 5,195 crore in the first quarter of FY2022. Which was Rs 4,233 crore in the same period last year. Meanwhile, Infosys Chief Operating Officer Parag Rao said that 35,000 college graduates will be recruited during the financial year 2022.

What the company's chief operating officer said


There are good job opportunities in IT companies in the Corona era. IT giant Infosys plans to employ 35,000 college graduates globally by 2022. Praveen Rao, chief operating officer of the company, said as the demand for talent in the digital sector grows, it becomes a challenge for the industry after a while.


We plan to recruit 35,000 college graduates for FY2022 to meet the growing demand globally. "We have initiated a number of initiatives such as compensation reviews, learning and incentives to give employees a chance to advance their careers," he said.


How much increased revenue in the first quarter


Infosys' rupee revenue rose 6 per cent to Rs 27,896 crore in the first quarter of FY2022. Infosys had revenue of Rs 26,311 crore in the fourth quarter of FY2021. Infosys' dollar revenue rose 4.7 per cent to 3, 3.782 billion in the first quarter of FY2022. Infosys had a revenue of 3, 3.613 billion in the fourth quarter of FY2021.


On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Infosys' EBITDA increased from Rs 6,440 to Rs 6,603 in April-June. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Infosys' abit margin fell to 23.7 per cent in the first quarter from 24.5 per cent.



Shares of Infosys closed 2.07 per cent higher at 1576.90 today. The company has a 52-week low of 781.35 and a high of 1591.
